Some ThoughtsIt's amazing God cared so much about Ahab and his people that He gave Ahab so many chances. But Ahab cared nothing for God (1KI 16:29-33) other than when God volunteered to help (1KI 20:14). Ahab disregarded the blasphemy of 1KI 20:23, 28 and embraced the sinner, so God got mad. Ahab was completely ignoring LEV 24:15-16, and behaving like Saul (remember 1SA 15:20-23).
