Connect the DotsElijah and Elisha were presumably too far away or in hiding during 1KI 22:8, so unavailable to summon. / Some think Micaiah was the prophet of 1KI 20:35-43. / I think of kings inside a palace when on their throne, but in 1KI 22:10 we read they were outside at the city entrance (GE 19:1, RU 4:1, 2SA 15:2). / In 1KI 22:15, Micaiah's sarcasm was thick, and Ahab heard it. / Compare 1KI 22:19-22 to Job 1:6-12, 2:1-7, as well as EPH 6:12. / Ahab dies in this story, Jezebel surprisingly lasts 12 more.
