An ApplicationThis chapter/story reminds us of the importance of Godly leadership, and how fast God will turn from anger to blessing (2CH 7:14) and how well God can bless (MAL 3:10).

Connect the DotsReading 2CH 17:6, his dad just did this in 2CH 14:3. How hard false religion dies! It certainly has help to stay alive (MT 13:38-39, MK 4:15, JN 8:44, 2 CO 11:14-15).
