An ApplicationJehoram was a jerk (2CH 21:4,6) but his daughter turned out ok (2KI 11:2-3). Hard to imagine raising a baby in a temple for 6 years. No walks in the park for either of them. Like his dad, Ahaziah, Joash had a messed up life. The king of the nation to the north, supposed to be their relatives, killed off most of his family, then his grandma killed off the rest. He understandably won't end up the most well-adjusted king in Israel's history, but will do some good.
