Some ThoughtsRegarding 2SA 8:15, remember 1SA 13:14 and ACT 13:22. / 2SA 8:16, Zeruiah will be named 19 times in 1SA 26:6 - 1KI 2:22. As a woman, this is extraordinary. She must've been a woman of significant economic or political influence, but it's not recorded in the Bible, specifically. A little backstory was given in 1CH 2:12-17. This means Joab and his two brothers were nephews of King David.
