An Application
ACT 10:14-15 sometimes God asks us to do things we
thought
were unthinkable. In this case, God was pointing out the ceremonial law, which served to separate Israelites from Gentiles, was no longer needed. That didn't mean the moral law was any less (remember Jesus raised the bar on moral issues, like MT 5:21-22 & 27-28). Are we willing to change our mind for God and His Word?
Connect the Dots
Compare ACT 10:3 to ACT 3:1 and DAN 9:21, which are related to EX 29:38-43. / ACT 10:12 is not very specific, but some examples Peter would've been thinking of were DT 14:3-18.
