An ApplicationACT 2:1, Pentecost (a Greek word) had been remembered annually ever since on the 7th Sunday after Easter Sunday. It happened on same day as the Jewish Festival of Shavuoth, originally called the Festival of Weeks (DT 16:10). / ACT 2:38-47 is often cited as "the Acts 2 church," which is considered by many as a model, or ideal, for the rest of us.
