An ApplicationWhat a gift, that God would speak to Saul after all the persecution he'd done. Fasting is largely a lost practice in my culture, but Saul had great confidence God was about to do something amazing with him. And that was without knowing God had told Ananias ACT 9:15.

Connect the DotsNotice in ACT 9:2 the name 'Christian' hadn't been coined yet (ACT 11:26). / Compare ACT 9:7 to ACT 22:9 and JN 12:28-29. / Obviously the guy in ACT 9:10 is different than ACT 5:5. / Compare ACT 9:22-23 to ACT 6:8-9, they forgot EX 20:13. / Saul will be called Paul beginning in ACT 13:9, and will dominate the rest of the book from then on (15 chapters). Then he'll go on to write what became half the New Testament. Compare ACT 9:25 to 2CO 11:32-33.
