An ApplicationIn DAN 5:11 we are reminded that Daniel was famous for the benefits of his obedience to God. In DAN 5:7-8 Daniel does not associate with the magicians and wizards (false prophets) of the day, and no one thought to get him with the king's first request. He was that odd foreigner who refused to act like them, and had to be summoned specifically (DAN 5:13). May we be different from the pagans around us, too (PR 4:14, ROM 12:2, JAM 4:4, 1PE 5:8-9).
