An ApplicationIn EST 6:6 Haman was so typical human, or at least raw male. But contrast that to Solomon's warnings in PR 3:34, 29:23, Jesus's warning in MT 23:12, and His promise in MT 5:5.

Connect the DotsIt's fascinating that his wife and friends realized he was as good as dead already in EST 6:13. It's almost surprising how quickly they did a 180 on him after EST 5:14. Almost. But they would have been well aware of EST 3:13 because of EST 3:15, and they may have been nervous that his plan would backfire. If it worked, great for him, but if it didn't, they would've been wise to worry about being dragged through the crossfire.
