An ApplicationEX 3:11,13,4:1 Moses asked good questions and got fascinating answers. It was when he said "no" that God got mad: EX 4:13. God is not afraid of answering questions. His plan is strong enough to hold up under scrutiny. He's generally good with clarifying for us, but when we stall or deny, that's when we tip to sin. Try to listen and obey, even when God's expectations are different than our assumptions.

Connect the DotsEX 3:14 reminds us of GE 22:16. Idols have human understandable names, God has a concept. / In EX 7:7, Moses tells us his age when he spoke with Pharoah. In ACT 7:23 (ACT 7:20-36) we are told by Stephen how old Moses was in EX 2:11. It's amazing how God can do whatever He wants, but He choses to work through us (EX 3:10). / Compare EX 3:2 to DT 4:24 & JER 23:29.
