Some ThoughtsThe original language of EX 4:24 could easily have referred to Moses's son, Gershom, as much as it could to Moses. / EX 4:20 says his wife went with him, but we'll learn in EX 18:2 she was left behind. The reconciliation is EX 4:29 implies Zipporah turned back with Gershom, and Moses and Aaron continued on alone. Eliezer, Moses's second son, was only named twice in the Bible in EX 18:3-4 and 1CH 23:15-17.
