Some ThoughtsGE 49:10, King David and the southern kingdom kings will all be descendants of Judah. And so will be Jesus (as far as His human lineage.) Interesting that Judah is described as a lion in GE 49:9 and then Jesus will be described as the lion of the tribe of Judah in REV 5:5.
