An ApplicationGod gave commands in GE 1:27-30 and 2:15-17, and there was the discussion around the disobedience and curse in GE 3:8-19. But the first piece of advice God was recorded as giving humanity was in GE 4:7. Like a parent advising their child not to touch the boiling water. That advice is still just as important today, to every one of us, as it was to Cain, approximately six millenia ago, for there is the reality of GAL 6:7.

Connect the DotsLEV 22:20 and MAL 1:6-8 are likely explanations for why Cain's sacrifice wasn't appreciated (GE 4:3-5). / Cain & Abel were described much later, even after Jesus's resurrection, as real historical people in HEB 11:4 & 1JN 3:12, and we should too. / There are a ton of lessons to learn from the first family. I've written about some of them in my mini-novel: Timeless Lessons.
