An ApplicationGE 8:22 is a reminder that while "climate changes," the world will continue with seasons and reasonable stability until God establishes a new Earth (REV 21:1). Believers in God know that climate change will never be an existential threat to humanity. Rather, sin, or disobedience to God, is (DT 29:19, JOS 22:18, JER 9:12-14.) This isn't permission to trash the planet, but saving the planet would be better accomplished through repentance & obedience than clean energy production.

Connect the DotsCompare GE 9:1,7 to GE 1:28. / GE 9:4 is reiterated in LEV 7:27, 17:10-14, & 19:26. / GE 9:13 informed us that the rainbow is a sign from God. Using it as a symbol of pride in choice rather than of God's redemption is sacrilege. God told us His opinion on our pride in JER 9:23-24.
