An ApplicationOne brief takeaway from LK 16:9 is we shouldn't assume all we have been given is meant for us (me). / In LK 16:8, Jesus seems to be saying worldly people are smarter at dealing with worldly topics, and isn't saying we should be more worldly, but more likely we all have something we can learn from someone else, even believers from unbelievers.

Connect the DotsIgnoring this was a parable, the servant here is lucky the master responded more favorably than in the next parable we'll read in a few stories (LK 19:22).
