Some ThoughtsMary's youth may have contributed to her agreeable attitude to such unusual news. Zechariah was an old man set in his ways. Like all Jews, she would've remembered ISA 7:14, and was probably confirming. / GE 3:15 was the first alusion to a messiah, 1SA 2:10 was the first mention of the title Messiah. / If (big if) Jesus was really born on December 25, then Mary would've been visited in late March, and Zechariah would've been visited the previous September. John would've likely been born in June.
