An ApplicationJesus never showed His frustration with humanity more than in this chapter. 7 times in 16 verses He critically used the word "hypocrite." But notice who He criticized. It wasn't those who were failing to do good enough, it was those who thought they were the role models of goodness. How refreshing that God is willing to criticize jerks, and rather than side with human establishment, He slammed and condemned it.
