An ApplicationWhen God was surprised. Kind of in a good way, kind of not. Notice how He complimented the Gentile and slammed the Jews. Remember this when we read about Lazarus, which is the story when God cried. God certainly loves us (ROM 5:8, EZE 18:23) but loving parents can get sick of habitually disobedient children (MT 23:37, 17:17).
