Some ThoughtsIn NUM 21:34, when God says He'll deliver Og into Moses's hands, important context was Og was no ordinary dude. He was described by Moses later, in DT 3:11. We can sympathize with why they would've made extra sure God had them covered when they went into battle. / A longer retelling of this story is given in DT 2:16-3:7. / Remember the Ammonites came from GE 19:35-38, as did the Moabites, who we'll read about next.
