An ApplicationREV 20:9 must be the most anticlimactic confrontation in history. Possibly the largest army in history is assembled by Satan in one last ditch effort to take out as many of God's followers as he can before the end. But God just sends fire from heaven and they all die. No battle. No confrontation. Not worth any time to explain. There was another anticlimactic story of equal significance at the beginning of the Bible, when Adam and Eve nonchalantly admitted sin into the world.

Connect the DotsCompare REV 20:4 to PHP 1:21, REV 20:12-13 to RO 2:16, REV 20:9 and 19:19,21. / ISA 66:15-16, ZEP 1:2-3, 17-18, 3:11, & MT 13:36-43 were also foreshadowing. Also remember JOB 37:23, PS 50:6, 51:4, ISA 9:6-7, JER 17:10.
